  • Myofascial Pain Syndrome: Chronic pain disorder caused by sensitivity and tightness in your myofascial tissues.

What can I expect from initial appointment?

In your initial consultation you would likely to expect a full postural analysis, medical history, range of motion testing and special tests to assess muscle/ postural imbalances or injuries.

Some information you will be expected to provide to your practitioner:

  • List of current medications.
  • Any scans such as MRI or X- rays.
  • Specific goals eg. physical fitness/ sporting event, challenges, and abilities.
  • If you’re uncomfortable with certain treatment, let your Myotherapist know.
    For example, if you are needle phobia we can tailor a treatment plan excluding dry needling.
